Our History
At this time, More Solutions has a short history. It began as an extracirricular effort in Medford, Massachusetts in the fall of 2002. Back then, plans were for a small business to help nearby gathering places set up wireless Internet access for their clients. However, due to time and financial constraints, it became very difficult to start. So, in October 2003, the initial construction of the More Solutions image began.
After working with small business owners that year, the company founder, Anthony Arous, understood that a market was available for customized business software. With successful projects, such as the original Customer Management tools, it became necessary to seize this market. As a result, the initial planning of the Order Management management suite began.
Despite starting slowly, Anthony made sure to focus on the mission at hand. He desired to make a fully-customizable, web-based system to help business manage their orders and their customers effectively. Finally, at the start of November 2003, Order Management 1.0 was officially launched. Its most significant features were full customization, picture uploading, and user management. Not long after, a second revision, Order Management 1.1 was released with a collection of new changes, such as e-mailing of tickets, improved error checking, and a superior security implementation.
In March 2004, development began on the successor to the Order Management software. In its place, the Corporate Solution package (now known as Jeweler Advantage) was born, offering a new user interface, with customer profile, inventory, and reporting capabilities. The program was officially released in July 2004. Jeweler Advantage 2.0 became public in February 2005, which included Live Search technology, customized sorting and exporting options to spreadsheets. Despite these advances, there will continue to be production of Jeweler Advantage for time to come, as More Solutions grows. We look forward to sharing our future with you.
