December 2005
Attachments
We have moved beyond pictures. Now, many new file formats are supported, including Word, Excel, and PDF files. These can now be attached to outgoing customer e-mails, to simplify your communication process.
Simplification
Some of the most unused features have been removed from the software. These features will still remain in the advanced mode of our product, but will greatly reduce the difficulty of using the software. We plan on continuing this trend into the new year.

An option has been added to mark orders as a repair, if you wish. In later releases, the sections will be split totally in order to easily distinguish between orders and repairs..

Focus Highlights
For easier accessibility, your current field will now be highlighted with a red border and a shaded background. This helps make it easier to find your place if you leave and come back to your system.
Modules
Removal of module system. All new features are now immediately available to all Upgrade Guarantee clients.
Simplicity
Reduced options to increase system efficiency and speed. Popular settings, such as Live Search Technology and Enhanced support, are now standard on all user accounts.
Optimization
Much faster page load times with less load on the servers, resulting in a significant boost in overall performance.
Invoices
You now have the ability to print out official invoices, which include all items and payments for your orders. Just like the official appraisal function, your logo and customized legal wording may also be easily customized.
Messaging
We have introduced the latest module to the Jeweler Advantage system. Messaging support will allow you and your employees to easily communicate with each other, just like using e-mail. All messages are stored with your other data and never leave the server, so your communication is much more secure.
Calendar
By popular request, the calendar module has been upgraded to include support for multiple day appointments.

Quantity
Support for decimal quantities, so fractional values are now accepted. This helps you easily keep track of sales by using gram weights for materials.
Barcodes
Download page including small installation program for easier distribution of barcoding updates. The program is very small, and only takes about 30 seconds to install on any Windows computer.
Simplicity
A simpler overall system for personal settings. Popular options are now on by default and obsure entries have been removed.

Suppliers
You now have the option to keep track of your suppliers for all incoming inventory quantities. Unlimited suppliers may be added to your list via your Global Settings.

Store Locations
No need to contact More Solutions to add new store locations. All clients now have free access to add support for unlimited stores.

Spouses
Rather than maintaining separate customer records for spouses, they may now be connected together in a single page.
Addresses
We now have support for multiple customer addresses, including both home and business.

Barcode Support
Barcodes may now be printed for all items in your inventory. This feature offers your business a professional look that appeals to your customers.
Improved Referral Program
We have doubled the cashback in our referral program. Now, for every new customer referred by your business, you receive two free months of service. More details may be found here.
Multiple Taxes
Any number of tax rates can now be handled automatically. In addition, any combination of these taxes can be assigned to each order or repair.
E-Mail Notifications
It is now very easy to manage your e-mail notification subscriptions by turning on or off different reports.
Birthdays & Anniversaries
Customers can now have their birthdays and anniversaries added, which also allows for e-mail notfication regarding upcoming events.
ZIP Code Lookup
By simply entering in a ZIP code, the city, state and country information can be automatically inserted into your records.

Live Search Technology
The system now automatically predicts what you are searching without submitting any information. As you type, suggestions are made, which can be easily clicked to quickly go to your destination.
Calendar
Appointments may now be scheduled in an easy to use interface. Notification messages are displayed for all upcoming events on your front page and e-mails may also be setup to be sent directly to your inbox.
Save to Excel
All records can now be exported directly to an Excel spreadsheet for additional recording purposes.
Sorting Options
Listings can be sorted by a variety of fields in any order that you wish.
